Elissa Steamer is one of the greatest of all time, and her skateboarding has blazed a trail ever since the Toy Machine Welcome to Hell video introduced her to our world. We were lucky enough to spend some time on the phone with Elissa recently, and she is the latest in a long list of legends to have entertained a “First & Last” interview. Our conversation starts at the beginning with the first board she received in Fort Myers, and moves all the way through to the last good skate she had, making sure to mark many of the significant moments that have illuminated her path along the way. It was a lot of fun looking back at her journey, and a reminder of what a positive force she has always been, and continues to be. We’re proud to have connected with Elissa for this one, and we hope you enjoy the read.
