Mike Carroll is a lifer whose contributions to skateboarding have fuelled its progression and direction, and continue to guide its course from Crailtap headquarters. His teenage crew made Embarcadero their base and training ground, cementing San Francisco as a bucket list destination for skateboarders globally, with every clip filmed on those bricks and beyond defining an era. We connected with Mike when he visited the shop last summer and were stoked to be able to use our “First & Last” interview format to mine for some stories from the early days through to his current reality, where he is enjoying skateboarding again with a renewed passion.
