Here is a sneak peek at the HTC One Skatepark which is under construcion in Selfridges right now. Slam City Skates are still occupying the ground floor of Selfridges on Oxford Street. This is part of the “Board Games” theme which has immersed every aspect of the store and will do for the months of March and April. We are pleased to bring you more information about the skatepark which will be opening alongside this. Here are some images of it under construction…

The opening date for this one-off space has come around very quickly. This park will be open to the public from Thursday 27th March up until Saturday 19th April. Use of the park is for skateboarders only! Entry to skate the park is FREE! The park will be open from 12:00 – 21:00 from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 – 21:00 on Saturdays and from 12:00 – 18:00 on Sundays. It looks like HTC have offered an in town antidote to the April showers no doubt imminent.
Beginners-only sessions will be on offer at the weekends and there will also be free lessons, an under-18’s contest and a girls-only night. We will give you more information regarding registration as we have it. An indoor park option is always a treat, especially a free one which could not be any more central. Open till 9 too! Visit our space at Selfridges and get in there and make the most of it is our advice!
