When the Supra team were in town earlier this year they spent some time in our Covent Garden shop. While on tour they were also interviewing a selected group of people about the city itself. This was to put together an instalment of their Dispatched documentary series. This has footage of Erik Ellington, Lizard King, Boo Johnson, Tom Penny, Pat Rumney, Dee Ostrander and Lucien Clarke exploring the city alongside some old footage from the archives. They managed to interview Winstan Whitter, Toby Shuall, Dan Magee, Lev Tanju, Dave Atkinson, Jacob Harris, Jagger and Ben Jobe talking about Skating in London, it’s intricacies, the pride it instills and the people it has inspired.
