Using this technology in skateboarding footwear was obviously an attractive prospect but reappropriating it and making it work with the specific support required took a lot of wear testing and design tweaks behind the scenes. These shoes were designed to fit like a glove and move along with the natural motion of the foot, enabling and enhancing every flick. Their flexibility and the natural movement offered is obvious straight out of the box. Another thing you will notice immediately is how light they are. Their simple aesthetic and classic suede upper don’t scream and shout about the extensive design behind them. These are like the evolution of previous ambitious design projects like the E-Cue and the Zoom Tre but what just arrived is a far more advanced and functional incarnation.
