Celebrating our 30th anniversary, Darius Trabalza, Jamie Arrgh, Neil Smith and Danny Brady road test the Dickies X Slam City Skates collection.
The search for the perfect pair of trousers is real and for some of us ongoing. Many of us found the answer some years back with the Dickies 874 and haven’t deviated since. Once upon a time we had to regularly pilgrimage to the nearest stockist before sourcing a way to carry them ourselves. Dickies quickly cemented their spot in our list of best sellers and we have received regular deliveries ever since.

This year is the 30th Anniversary of Slam City Skates serving the skateboarding community. We were excited when the opportunity arose to work with Dickies on a collection to celebrate this milestone. We jumped at the chance to add our own spin to some of our favourite items, obviously choosing straightaway to work with the 874. We soon added the New York Cargo Pants as a second option. We also put together a T-Shirt and selected our favourite long sleeve Workshirt. Slam branding appears subtly across this capsule and exclusive carabiners are attached to all of the pants.
Slam team riders Darius Trabalza, Danny Brady, Neil Smith and Jamie Arghhh were stoked when these Work Pants first came back. They were obvious choices to road test this clothing pack and spent some May afternoons on the city streets with Mark Jackson, culminating in the video edit which accompanies this 30th Anniversary clothing collection.

It was an honour getting to work with one of our favourite brands like this. We hope you like the results as much as we do…
